Our sheepskin rugs are made with the same holistic philosophy as the lamb we raise on our farms. They are not only beautiful, but luxuriously soft and dense to the touch. The rugs are left in the natural shape of the animal, averaging around 9 square feet each, and have been tanned, so you can be sure that the double-sided hide is resistant to cracking. Keith Martin of Elysian Fields Farm hand selects each pelt and personally oversees the eight-month creation process to ensure the highest-quality result. Please note that variations of texture, length of wool, and color may occur due to the natural process used when creating our rugs. Dyes, when used, are all natural and diversity of color will occur, lending to the unique beauty.
